The injured was identified as Dayal Bata, resident of Kandaghat. The couple in another car got minor injuries. According to the information, the couple was on the way towards Shimla. Both vehicles were badly damaged.
There was a crowd of people on the spot after the accident. They pulled the driver trapped in the car. He was taken to Kandaghat Hospital.
Additional Superintendent of Police Shiv Kumar said that the police team has been sent on the spot. The matter is being investigated.
