Himachal (The Stellar News): Governor Bandaru Dattatraya and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have greeted the people of the State especially Sikh brethren on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. In his message, Bandaru Dattatraya said that Guruparab was the most sacred festival of Sikhs which was the birth anniversary of their first Guru, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

He said we should follow teachings of Guruji for an enriched and peaceful life. In his felicitation message, Jai Ram Thakur said that Guru Nanak Dev ji preached love, peace and communal harmony to strengthen the bond of universal brotherhood. He said that we should follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji, which were more relevant in the present times.
