Himachal (The Stellar News): Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur called on Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Mansukh L Mandaviya at New Delhi late last evening. He sought the support of the Minister for setting up of Bulk Drug Pharma Park in the state. He said that state has conducive atmosphere for growth of industries. He requested to consider the claim of state for the project out of the three states to be chosen.
Chief Minister said that there were many water bodies in the state which can be internally connected and requested for exploring the possibilities of launching water plane facility in them to boost tourism activities. Mansukh L Mandaviya agreed to the request in principle and asked to submit a proposal for the same.Dr. R. N. Batta Principal Private Secretary to CM and Dy. Resident Commissioner Vivek Mahajan accompanied the Chief Minister.
