Governor donates Rs. 1.83 lakh for Ram Mandir

Himachal (The Stellar News): Governor Bandaru Dattatraya made a donation of Rs. 1,83,750 in his personal capacity towards the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. He handed over the draft to the representatives of the Himachal. A State Level representative committee of the trust called on Governor at Raj Bhavan, today. Sunil Jaswal, Convener, Vishva Hindu Parishad and Nidhi Sangrah Abhiyan Pramukh apprised about the donation drive in Himachal Pradesh. He said, “The goal of the organization is to reach every village in the state and connect every family to the Ram temple. This campaign started from today and would continue till 27 February”.

He said that people were enthusiastic about the construction of Ram temple and are confident of receiving contribution more than the target from Himachal.

They also detailed about the architect and other features of the temple to the Governor. Raj Kumar Verma, Shimla Vibhag Sanghchalak, RSS, Himachal Pradesh, Neeraj Dhanoria, Prant Sangthan Mantri, Himachal Prant, VHP and Shailender Verma, former trustee, VHP were present on the occasion.
