J&K/Rajouri (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rajouri in Collaboration with National Progressive Youth Organisation (Regd.) and District Social Welfare Department organised one day convention in connection with the Celebrations of International Women Day at SVS Women College, Rajouri.
During the convention Essay Writing and Declamation contest were held and the winners got awarded by Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri Rajesh Kumar Shavan who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Besides, Women Achievers cum Role Models from diverse walk of society were also facilitated. Those who got facilitated includes Rekha Sharma, Ruksana Kouser, Shivangi Kant, Soonam Sharma, Samreen Khan, Madhu Sharma, Palvi Bali and Indu Sharma.
Those prominent who were present includes Nitin Hangloo, District Youth Officer, NYK Rajouri, Wakeel Ahmed Bhat, District Social Welfare Officer, Rajouri.
Proceeding of the programme were conducted by reknowned Freelancer Activist Vikrant Sharma while earlier Sahila Malik fraternity member of the college presented welcome address while Dr. Shamshad, Principal SVS Women College, Rajouri presented vote of thanks.
