Delhi (The Stellar News), Saksham: On Monday, Delhi court announced death penalty for Ariz Khan. Giving verdict on killing of Inspector case, Delhi High Court gave death penalty to Ariz Khan.
Batla House is a place in Jamia Nagar, South Delhi where Delhi Police conducted raid in 2008 after getting information about some terrorists living in that place. During raid terrorists started firing. During this encounter a special cell inspector Mohan Chand Sharma was killed by Ariz Khan.
Khan was allegedly associated with terror organization Indian-Mujahideen. He ran from the place of encounter but was later arrested by Delhi Police on February 14, 2018. Then he produced in front of court. The verdict came after 13 years of encounter. But now hopefully culprit will be punished.
