J&K/Rajouri, Report: Anil Bharadwaj: Achieving success on anti narcotics front, police here in district Rajouri nabbed two persons, recovering ten grams of Heroin like substance from their possession besides some amount of suspicious cash.
In an official statement, police said that team headed by SHO Thanamandi, Insp Fareed Ahmed, was on routine patrolling at Thanamandi Shahdra road when at Bhangai, a car JK11D 4352 was stopped for routine checking. On search, around 10 gm of heroin like substance and thirteen thousand rupees cash was recovered from the possession of two persons in the vehicle. The persons have been identified has Azmat Shah son of Nazir Hussain resident of Kotedhara Rajouri and Imtiaz Ahmed son of Mohammad Hussain resident of Sialsui Kalakote.
A case FIR 59/2021 under section 8/21/22/60 of NDPS act has been registered in Thanamandi police station and further investigation is going on
