Due to the raging of second wave of corona virus in country, number of cases are increasing rapidly. In this second wave people are facing a severe problem of breathlessness. Oxygen level of covid positive patients is decreasing. Due to this the demand of oxygen has also increased.

Despite the Delhi government has imposed lockdown in Delhi, but the situation is going out of control. The situation of Delhi hospitals is this that there are 100 people in line for a single hospital bed. Hospitals are rolling out of oxygen. Patients are moving hospital to hospital for the availability of beds and oxygen cylinders. Oxygen suppliers are refusing to send oxygen to hospitals.

As the situation becoming worst, both Delhi and centre governments started blaming each other. Delhi government is saying that centre government is not providing oxygen to Delhi. On the other side centre government is stating that we are giving oxygen to Delhi government but Delhi government is failing in supplying oxygen to hospitals.

Another biggest problem people of Delhi are facing is black marketing of medical equipments. Medicines beneficial for the treatment of covid-19 patients are selling on record high prices. People are helpless in buying these medicines five times the real price. Oxygen cylinders of price Rs 12000 are selling at more than Rs 75000, Remdesivir medicine used in treatment of covid-19 real cost is Rs 6000 but in market it is selling at more than Rs 50,000. People are requesting Governments to control this problem but governments are failing to stop this.

Delhi high court also slammed centre as well as Delhi government for not taking adequate measures in this crisis. Delhi high court also blamed centre for not providing oxygen to Delhi. Court also called Delhi government an irresponsible government, as government has failed to control black marketing of medical equipments.
