Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Amidst the raging corona virus in India, the only key to control this lethal decease is Covid-19 vaccines. Despite of innovation of Covid-19 vaccine by Indian scientists, Indian population is still forced to wait for getting vaccinated. This is due to the unavailability of vaccine doses on vaccination centers.
Even though India is one of the countries those are fastest in vaccinating its population. In the previous stage when India has conducted first level of vaccination drive there seems to be adequate stock of vaccines within the country. As Indian plants was looking sufficient for the production of vaccine doses within country.
After the second wave, number of infected people inundated which led to the deaths of thousands of people. After that the only weapon against the covid-19 was vaccine but the challenge for Government was the availability of resources for the production. For that, Government also reached foreign countries and got promises of help.
Centre Government also asked state governments to buy vaccines from foreign companies, so state governments also stepped up for this. But nothing happened as per the plans. Because with the abundant vaccine requirement across the world, vaccine production companies like Pfizer and Moderna has refused to get orders from State Governments.
They can only provide vaccines to Central Government as per senior officials of these companies. In India, vaccine unavailability is not a single problem the other curse is bad Indian politics which led to suffering of Millions of people. Centre Ruling Party is blaming State Governments for the wastage of vaccine jabs. While the State Governments encircled Centre for the unavailability of vaccine doses.
This same politics was seen at the time of oxygen scarcity in the country. But the truth is that citizens need oxygen and vaccines no matter which government make it available. We also saw this in Punjab where regional BJP workers are blaming state government of Punjab rather than talking with centre government for vaccine availability.
On the other side state government is blaming centre rather than taking care of vaccine jabs wastage in state.
