New Rules Will Be Implemented From July 1 in These Banks

New Delhi (The Stellar News): Starting of new month has brought some changes in banking rules as some bank has issued new rules for the public. Some Rules are changed for the banks like State Bank of India, Axis Bank and Syndicate Bank. There are going to be some changes in the rules and guidelines of these banks.  These banks have done some changes in the ATM cash withdrawal, cheque slips, Basic Savings Bank Deposit account. These changes will come in effect from 1 July. Axis bank is going to increase their monthly charge on SMS alert. There will be some changes in IFSC code of Syndicate bank users.

Changes for SBI Bank users:

You can now withdraw your money for only four times for free and after that you will be charged Rs.15 + GST. Same rule will be applied on ATM transactions.

(Basic savings account deposit) BSBD account holders can only use 10 cheque slips in a year. If a customer requires cheque slip than they have to pay Rs. 40 + GST for 10 leaf and Rs. 75 + GST for 25 cheque leaf. This rule will not be applied on senior citizen.

Changes for Axis Bank users:

There will be increase in bank SMS alert charge. Bank has decided to charge Rs. 25 paisa (approx.Rs.25) on SMS alert rather than charging Rs.5 for a month. This will not be applied on promotion text messages and OTP.

IFSD code of erstwhile Syndicate Bank will change:

Due to merging of Syndicate Bank to Canara Bank, IFSC code of Syndicate Bank will be changed from July 1. Customers have to use the new IFSC code of Canara Bank to do NEFT/RTGS/IMPS. New IFSC Code for Canara Bank can be obtained on Canarabank.com/ifsc.html, you can also check on their website or you can visit any branch of Canara bank.
