Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Cricketer turned politician and recently appointed as Punjab congress president in his first formal meeting with Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh seeks immediate action in 5 important issues. Sidhu went to Punjab Civil secretariat with four congress working presidents- Kuljit Nagra, Sangat Singh Gilzian, Sukhwinder Danny and Pawan Goel.
In political circles the meeting is being seen as a conciliatory note between the two leaders, who apparently looked unseen in the coronation ceremony of Navjot Singh Sidhu. The chief minister was quick to tell sidhu that the issues that he came to discuss are already in its final stage of its resolution.
Sidhu after deliberations with party workers, in his letter mentioned five priority issues- punishment to perpetrators of sacrilege, catching big fishes of drug trafficking, complete rejection of three farm laws, cancellation of Power purchase Agreements and opening doors of discussion with the protesting employees.
