Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Newly elected Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi bowed in Golden temple on Wednesday morning with Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu along with Two Deputy CM Punjab, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and OP Soni. CM Channi came to Amritsar for giving respect to religious places Golden temple and Ram Tirath.
They also did morning rituals in Golden temple and took tea outside the Temple. While tea CM Channi shows his poetic Style and spoke some line, includes, “Chalte Firte Huye Mehtab Dikhayenge Tumhe, Humse Milna Kabhi yeh Punjab dikhange Tumhe. Suraj hai har ghar mae, Chand hai har ghar mae, neend se jago Naye khwab dikhjange tumhe.”
He along with prominent Leaders, also went to Valmiki Tirath (Ram Tirath), Durgeana Temple and in Amritsar. This might be a tactic to show that Congress is for each and every community and religion, as Congress tried to pull Dalit voters in their side by appointing a Dalit CM for Punjab.
