J&K/Rajouri (The Stellar News) Report: Anil Bhardwaj.Thanamandi police in Rajouri district on Monday arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest in a case with a warrant of arrest was also issued against him by Hon’ble court.
The accused have been identified as Wasad Shah son of Suleman Shah resident of Mangota village in Thanamandi who was absconding since 2019 in case FIR No 102/2019 and a warrant of arrest
U/S 512 CrPC was issued against him by the Hon’ble Court of JMIC Thanamandi. Police in an official press statement informed that a team of Police Station Thanamandi headed by PSI Vikas Khullar Under the supervision of SHO Thanamandi Shoket Amin arrested the absconder from Mangota area and produced the absconder before the Hon’ble Court.
SSP Rajouri Mohammad Aslam said that taking investigations and legal proceedings in a case to a logical conclusion are one of the main priority of Rajouri police for which arrest of absconders is made as per law of land.
He said that a number of absconders have been arrested in Rajouri district in recent past and the action shall continue in future also.
