Kargil (The Stellar News): In Ladakh, traffic on NH 301 Kargil Zanskar Road was affected due to avalanche at Parkachik Rongo Stretch.The team of Mechanical Division Kargil-Ladakh deployed men and machinery to clear the avalanches and resumed Traffic immediately.
Mohammad Hassan Baghi Xen Mechanical Division Kargil while talking to media said that the department has deployed wheel Loader machines for clearance of snow avalanches between Parkachik – Rongo stretch of Kargil Zanskar Highway & allowed stranded vehicles from Zanskar side towards Kargil after completion of clearance operation. Its pertinent to mention here that this year for the first times in history the Kargil Zanskar Road NH 301 is open for traffic even in winter and the team of Mechanical Division Kargil and NHIDCL is doing wonderful job to keep the highway clear.
