APPREHENSION OF A BANGLADESH NATIONAL BY BSF IN AMRITSAR

Amritsar (The Stellar News): On 05th Jan’ 2023 during late night hours, BSF troops deployed in depth area near village Roranwala Khurd in Amritsar district, noticed the movement of a civilian approaching from own side towards border fence. BSF troops stopped the individual and on enquiring, it was found that person is a Bangladesh national.

2. Further, during questioning individual revealed his name as Md. Mahmud Alam Tulu (Age – 62 years), R/o – Durgabordi, Madaripur (Bangladesh), who had come to India for further travelling to Pakistan through Attari-Wagha border. He was in possession of Bangladesh passport with 06 months Visa to travel in India, but not having Visa to travel to Pakistan. He also revealed that he is married and his family resides in Pakistan.

3. During questioning, it was revealed that he reached near border inadvertently. Nothing objectionable was recovered from him.

4. BSF handed-over the apprehended Bangladesh national to Police for further course of action.
