Sadaqat Ali S/O Mohd Sharief R/O Chandak Tehsil Haveli Poonch 3. mohd Imtiaz Ahmed S/O Jamal Din R/O Ward No. 8 Poonch from Surankote 4. Javid Ahmed S/O Abdul Ghani R/O Surankote from Surankote areas. Heroin like contraband substance weighing 30 grams and Charas like contraband substance weighing 50 grams were recovered from the possession of accused persons and also seized 02 vehicles bearing Registration Nos. JK02BC 6195 (Tavera), JK12C 0858 (Alto)
The Police team lead by SHO Police Station Surankote Sh. Rajveer Singh, under the close supervision of DYSP Surankote Sh. Tanweer Jeelani on the direction of SSP Poonch Sh. Rohit Baskotra was on routine naka checking at Dhundak & darushshid areas of surankote. During nakas checking aforementioned quantity of narcotics like contraband substance recovered from the possession of accused persons.
In this regard Cases viz FIR No. 12/2023 U/S 8(a)/20/ 21/22/25/27-A/29 NDPS. & FIR No. 13/2023 U/S 8(a)/21/22/25 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Surankote and investigation taken up. Poonch Police enjoined upon all citizens of Poonch to be aware of drug menace and report any incident to Poonch Police, his identity will be kept secret
