J&K/ Jammu (The Stellar News), Report- Anil Bhardwaj: Dalit, OBC and Miniority (DOM) organisation has Conducted a protested to condemn the shameful incidence happened on 4th May 2023 with three women of KUKI tribe of Manipur has been praded naked among thousand of anti national elements, according to FIR a fake news of rape of Matti tribe girl spreaded on social media, in return anti social elements of Matti tribe mob of thousands of people has brutally undressed the women and praded them to the open field and humiliated them by touching their private parts, after that they did gang rape with one of 21 year girl and their family members has been killed by mob who intervened to protect their daughter
Mr. R. K. Kalsotra (Presdent DOM) has condemned the incidence that after 78 days Prime Minister has awakened and showed his pain,he should have addressed earlier to stop this type of incidence, he added that from last 3 month conditions in Manipur was worsening but central government become like a quiet audience. Just because these states are having only 2 MP seats which make no difference for Center Government like UP and others, the central govt paid no heed to the situation . He appealed to the Government to wake up fully and give Justice to the KUKI tribal women. Moreover, he added that Dr BR Ambedkar said that the Constitution of India will be serving its purpose only and only if implemented to its potential by the governments, but clearly the current government has failed to implement it and protect the rights of people. The president’s rule was demanded for Manipur with immediate effect.
Mr. Ashu Peter Mattoo (President All J&K Christian Sabha) has also showed resentment on the incidence and said that those 3 Women were from KUKI tribe who embraced from Christian community indeed, this shameful, brutal and inhumane act is not at all tolerable for any civilized society, this act could happen to any community if we will not raise our voice moreover this shameful act is the insult of all the women of India, One hand we treat women as goddess and on other hand this type of incidence had insulted India world wide, we appeal center government to awake up and give Justice to the people of Manipur,if on abrogation of Articles 370 you can Install thousand of soldiers in J&K to maintain law and order, then for maintaining Law and order why can’t you give power to Army to stop this violence in Manipur, Mr. Kuldeep (Sikh revolutionary) also added the condition of Manipur violence is very worse, that more then 250 churches have been burnt, more then 50000 people has been displaced and living in the relief camps, childrens become orphaned, women become widows and men are on run to save their lives.
Pr. Simon Paul appeal the people of Nation to stand with victims of Manipur violence against the radical forces and prayer to bring peace and harmony in the state again.
Sardar Aaya Singh said, It is a time for government to end this deadly violence and bring peace and harmony in Manipur, Government should stop vote bank politics and treat the people of Manipur as a part of India and moreover they are human like the people sitting in the center. Other dignitaries who joined and spoke in the protest are Zaffar Paul,Sardar Sukhdev Singh, Ramesh Samral, Shashi Syal, Suraj Parkash, Mohinder Kumar , Vicky Bhatti, John Paul, Sham Bassan.
