J&K/DODA (The Stellar News), Report-Anil Bhardwaj: Cultural Programme was organized in Town Hall Doda by Doda Police in the memories of Police Martyrs and to pay rich tribute to them who have laid down their lives for the security and integrity of the nation. The Programme was organized by Shakeel Rehman Bhat-JKPS, Addl. SP Doda under the guidance of Shri Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, SSP Doda. The event witnessed huge gathering which includes participation of Prominent Persons, School Heads alongwith Staff members and students of various Schools of Doda town.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP Doda thanked and complimented the participants for sparing their valuable time and made the event a grand success. SSP also said that Doda Police organised number of programmes in the District which mainly aim to remember the Martyrs and to pay homage and respect to them who have given their today for our tomorrow and additionally such programmes also provides opportunity to youth to showcase their talent in the field of Sports, Arts and other fields of competition and the youth have a pivotal role in building a prosperous and healthy society. In the event, a colourful programme was presented by students of various Schools which includes Sirazi Songs, Bhaderwahi, Dogri, Punjabi, Solo and Group dance performance and the audience were amused and mesmerized at the function.
Notably,Doda Police has organized number of events so far and set to organize more such programmes across the length and breadth of District in the memories of Martyrs which includes Debates, Seminars, Police Band Show, Movie Show, Marathons to pay homage and respect to the Police Martyrs. The instant commemorative event concluded with refreshment to the participants besides momentos and certificates of participation were also given to performers and students who presented their programme and vote of thanks was presented by Addl SP Doda.
