On Wednesday, a new auditorium named after Dr. Manmohan Singh, a former Prime minister of India was inaugurated in Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana (Punjab) by Professor Ramesh Chand, Member, NITI Aayog.

The auditorium is very large and airy, containing a seating capacity of 1000. The auditorium is constructed by using a grant, which was given by the government in 2006 to the university. The auditorium is located near gate no. 1 of Punjab Agriculture University.
