An Honour-Killing incident found in Bhaini Doaba, Ludihana, where 55-year-old Gurmail Singh allegedly killed her daughter and her live-in partner with a sword, as he was ashamed of their live-in relationship. After murder, Gurmail placed their bodies in cart and took the bodies at village square in order to reveal the bodies in front of villagers. The victims were identified as Balwinder kaur (35) and Kuldeep Chabra (40).
As per reports, Balwinder kaur was married to an auto driver, Harminder Singh 17 years ago. She had two children from him, 14-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son. She was not satisfied from her married life. She came close to Kuldeep singh, an auto driver and also very close friend of Harminder Singh. Kuldeep Singh was also separated from her wife. Balwinder kaur left her husband and moved with Kuldeep Singh for live-in relation.
But Balwinder kaur’s father Gurmail was embarrassed from his daughter’s live-in relation, he left home and started living in Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib.
On Monday night, when Gurmail singh’s neighbours noticed a noise from Gurmail singh’s house they found Gurmail’s eldest son, Gurpreet Singh shouted that house was splashed with blood and the both victims were missing. They suspected that the victims had killed by Gurmail Singh. When they reached at village square, they found the bodies were placed in the cart.
Gurmail Singh confessed the crime. The case has been registered against Gurmail Singh.
