Delhi (The Stellar News), Report-Saksham: Iqbal Singh was named in the list of eight suspects who were involved in violation at Red Fort arrested by special cell of Delhi Police. He is a resident of Ludhiana, Punjab. Special cell of Delhi Police arrested Iqbal Singh on Tuesday late night from Hoshiarpur, Punjab.
He was accused for misguiding the protesters and instigating the crowd near the Lahori Gate to storm the Red Fort. Several videos surfaced on social media which clearly shows the presence of Iqbal Singh on the ground of red fort. He was clearly seen as instigating the mob to enter red fort.
DCP Delhi Special cell said that, “Iqbal Singh was visiting Singhu border since November 2020”. Delhi police has announced Rs50,000 cash reward for informers who give credible information about Iqbal Singh. He will be expectedly investigated by Delhi Police and Police will try to get some more details about case from Iqbal Singh.
