Ganderbal: Dr Piyush Singla on Monday took charge of Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, asserting that he would “make the Ganderbal district as a role model for the state.”
“I am fully aware of the challenges ahead and will try my level best to make Ganderbal as a role model for other districts by taking it to new heights on development and tourism fronts,” He said
He said that Ganderbal, also called the land of springs and meadows, has historical importance and tremendous potential in tourism in general and pilgrim tourism in particular.
Dr.Piyush appreciated the efforts of outgoing Deputy Commissioner Tariq Hussain Ganie in “overall development of the district.”
Congratulating the newly appointed DC Ganderbal Dr.Piyush Singla, the Ganderbal Journalist Association wished him a successful tenure ahead.
