New Delhi (The Stellar News), Saksham: Central Board of Education (CBSE) had decided to cancel class 10th exams and postponed class 12th exams for further notice. CBSE said they will inform students of class 12th 15 days before the conduction of exams. Next decision will be given by considering the current situation of Corona pandemic.
CBSE had taken this decision after the extensive increase of corona cases in India. About 22lakh students of both classes 10th and 12lakh will be affected by this decision.
During exams students together in large numbers and there was chances of increase in covid-19 cases. Due to this number of corona hotspots in country will be increased.
From last month a big campaign on social media was ongoing. Lakhs of students were requesting CBSE for cancelling exams or conduct exams online. Big celebrities and politicians like Sonu Sood and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal came in support of students and appealed CBSE for cancelling exams.
Not just CBSE various state boards cancelled or postponed exams of students. Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab state boards postponed exams of students.
