Hoshiarpur (The Stellar News): On the occasion of ‘International Day Against Drugs Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’ Hoshiarpur police organised an Online competition to engage the youth and show their creativity giving positive message against social evil of drug abuse and to know the value of life. The topic for the competition was “Drug Abuse, Trafficking and Ways To Control It”. It was an online event of Creating short videos in which they have to create choreographed skits or any video of maximum 2 minutes.
First position was bagged by Manvi Behl, Second position by Jasleen and Third by Manya Sharma and these awards were given by SSP Hoshiarpur.
Instruction for the students were that they have to record 2 mins video and upload it on social media platforms Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using hashtag #DrugFreeHoshiarpur in any language English Hindi or Punjabi. Participants from all the age group were invited. Winners were announce on 25 June 2021. Total entries received were 53.
