Punjab (The Stellar News): Ms Sonali Mishra, IPS is an Indian Police service officer of 93 batch from Madhya Pradesh. She assumed charge of Inspector General BSF Punjab frontier on 26th july, 2021.

She holds a very vast experience of having served in Madhya Pradesh polivce in various capacities. She has commanded the militancy infested Kashmir frontier in BSF. Among her staff appointments, she has been IG (Ops) SPL DG (West) BSF Chandigarh and IG (G) FHQ BSF, New Delhi.
She has served in CBI at Delhi and Mumbai as SP and DIG, she has led the Indian CIVPOL contingent to UN in Kosova. Ms Sonali Mishra, IPS, IG BSF Punjab Frontier has been awarded the prestigious PPMDS in 2020 for her distinguished service.
