Ladakh (The Stellar News): In Kargil Ladakh, District Police Kargil organized al cycling cleanliness awareness drive to commemorate “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” with the motto of “SWACHH LADAKH, SWASTH LADAKH” in collaboration with Ladakh Cycling Association.
The cycling cleanliness drive flagged off by SP Kargil Anayat Ali Chowdhary, from Conference Hall Baroo Kargil.
Cyclists starting from baroo crossed through Main Bazaar Kargil via circular road distributing Pamphlets for general awareness among the public about clealiness and culminated at Tourist Facilitation Centre Kargil. In this cleanliness drive nearly 60 volunteers out of which 10 volunteers from Down Hill Kargil helped in conducting the event successfully.
SP Kargil on this occasion talking about the importance of Independence urged upon the people to keep the surroundings neat and clean for healthy life.
