J&K/SRINAGAR (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: District Development Commissioner, Srinagar Mohammad Aijaz Asad, Saturday sanctioned an ex-gratia relief to the tune of ₹39.26 Lacs covering 52 fire incident damaged structures of Barthana, Parimpora in Srinagar. Pertinent to mention that these houses/properties were gutted in a devastating fire incident on October 07, 2021, rendering several families homeless.
The ex-gratia relief has been sanctioned under SDRF after verified by SOP Committee headed by Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar vide his letter No. ADDC/PS/470, dated 09-10-2021. Meanwhile, the District Development Commissioner, Srinagar has said that essential assistance in the form of 500 blankets, 300 mattresses, 300 bed sheets and 100 kitchen sets has already been extended to the affected families.
