J&K/Rajouri (The Stellar News): Continuing its efforts against drug peddling and narcotics trade, Jammu and Kashmir Police in District Rajouri apprehended two peddlers and recovered heroin. Today on October 9, 2021, a team of PS Thanamandi led by PSI Aakash Sharma, while on checking duty in Thanamandi, apprehended two persons who attempted to evade the police party suspiciously.

They were identified as Mohd Shafiq, s/o Abdul Aziz, r/o banghai and Amir Samyal, s/o Mohd Bashir r/o Hasplote. On search, around 8 gm of heroin like substance was recovered from their possession. In relation to this, FIR no 213/2021 u/s 8/20/21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Thanamandi and further investigation initiated.
