Jalandhar (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: PM Modi was in Jalandhar to seek votes for NDA alliance in Punjab and slammed Congress for running remote control government in Punjab. PM promised “Nava Punjab” in next five years at Jalandhar rally.

Modi addressing his first public rally ahead the assembly elections on 20th Feb said, Happy to see Capt Amarinder Singh with us. PM said, “Punjab is a border state and want a government which can ensure security of Punjab and India.”

Questioning the State of Government in Punjab, said, “I wanted to offer prayers at Trupurmalini Devi Shakti Peeth after this event but the administration and police said they will not be able to make the arrangements. This is the situation of Government here. But I will surely offer prayers at Shakti Peeth soon.”

The rally was accompanied by the whole leadership of NDA alliance including Capt Amrinder Singh, Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Ashwini Sharma and others.
