She said, Indian embassy allowed to board its Bus and helped her to go Ukraine-Hungry border. She added, she was alone with all the Indian students in the bus.

Arshad explained her horrific experience in war-torn Ukraine and said when Russia started military invasion, her university staff shifted them to hostel basements.

“I stayed with some 120 students from Nigeria, China, India and even some local Ukrainians. It wasn’t safe for us to leave our shelter or even try and flee as airstrikes continued all day and night,” Arshad was quoted as saying by Dawn.

Last week, some Pakistani and Turkish students in Ukraine used the Indian flag to cross into the neighbouring countries of Ukraine.

The Indian students who had arrived in the city of Bucharest in Romania from Ukraine had said that tricolour helped them as well as some Pakistan and Turkish students in safely crossing the various checkpoints in Ukraine.
