J&K/Rajouri (The Stellar News): On Wednesday evening, an information pertaining to dishonouring of national flag was received wherein it was reported that a national flag was hoisted on the building of Sub District Hospital Nowshera, where some unknown miscreant dishonoured the national flag.
Soon after receiving information, a team of police from Nowshera police station rushed to the spot and examined the site.
A case FIR 68/2022 under section 2 – Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act was registered in PS Nowshera and investigation set into motion.
Special investigation team was constituted under SDPO Nowshera assisted by SHO Nowshera.
During investigation into the instant case few material witnesses were identified and their statements were recorded. The circumstantial evidences were gathered and found corroborative with facts revealed by material witnesses.
Based on the investigation one accused has been zeroed and identified as Koushal Kumar S/O Romesh Chander R/O Ward No.07. Reports are also pouring in to the effect that the said accused Koushal Kumar is of unsound mind which will be investigated formally in coming days. SSP Rajouri Mohd Aslam assured public of early completion of fair and impartial investigation into the instant case.
