28 bovines rescued in Rajouri J&K

J&K/Rajouri (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: Foiling multiple bids of smuggling of bovines, Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district rescued twenty eight bovines during action in Nowshera and Kallar areas. Police said that an information of suspicious movement was received by Kallar Chatyar police post of Rajouri after which a team of police headed by PSI Sahil Chowdhary zeroed in over area along river Munawar Tawi and intercepted bovine smugglers. Twenty three bovines were rescued in the action and accused namely Abdul Majid son of Abdul Ajiz resident of Haspalote Thanamandi was arrested from the spot. On the other hand, a case in FIR 101/2022 under sections 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act has been registered against accused Sukhdev Kumar son of Rajinder Kumar resident of Hanjana Nowshera after a vehicle JK14F-0452 was intercepted carrying bovines.
Similarly, police team of Kalakote police station intercepted a Tata Mobile JK20A-1006 at Potha naka on Rajouri Kalakote road. Three bovines were found loaded in the vehicle during checking after which driver namely Hamid Mohd son of Hussain Mohd resident of Trutta Pala Akhnoor has been arrested. A case under relevant sections of law have been registered against the accused.
