Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Punjab Government in a recent offer to Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh decided to give his security back hours after the Punjab Government took back security of 424 VIP’s. But as per sources, Jathedar declined to take Police security. Six personnel, three from Bathinda police, and three from the India Reserve Battalion (IRB), a special armed force, were guarding the head of the highest Sikh temporal seat.

“Khalsa Panth and the Sikh youths are there for our security. There is no need of government’s security,” the jathedar said.
