J&K/Poonch(The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: Continuing their journey ahead, the Golden Jubilee White Knight Motorcyclists today visited areas around Poonch and paid homage to the brave hearts. Poonch has been the Karma Bhoomi of brave soldiers soaked in patriotic fervor, whose sacrifices are still fresh in the memories of the local populace. Traversing the meandering mountainous road, the Veer Samriti Yatra paid homage at Ajote, Naman Sthal, Chettri & Kulali War Memorials.
These monuments are a living tribute to the gallant soldiers who will be remembered for their sacrifices by present and future generations. The journey which started from Shaheedgarh War Memorial located at Qila Darhal, Lam, Nowshera on 08 Jun 2022 has also been interacting with various veterans and locals enroute and reinforcing existing bonds of bonhomie and brotherhood.
