Delhi ( The Stellar News ): Tesla CEO Elon Musk has stated that he will terminate the $44 billion offer to buy Twitter. He sent a letter to Twitter’s board on Friday, July 8, 2022, stating his decision. Twitter is not accepting this offer and its shares fell 5% to $36.81 well below $54.20 that Musk offered to pay. Twitter could have pushed for a $1 billion dollar breakup fee which Musk is willing to pay.

The reason behind this decision is decision is that Musk has sought data to judge the prevalence of fake or spam accounts which Twitter has failed to provide for more than two months and often ignored many of Musk’s request.
