Delhi ( The Stellar News ) : The former PM of Japan Shinzo Abe was shot today, July 8, 2022 around 11:30 am in Nara. He was on a campaign of parliamentary election, when a man of age 41 shot him with a homemade gun. After being in a critical situation for a few hours he was declared dead.

Shinzo Abe was the longest serving prime minister in the history of Japan. He stepped down from his position in September, 2020. Prominent political figures from all around the world also expressed their condolences on this unfortunate event. In this morning when the assassination attempt was made, PM Modi also expressed his deepest distress on his twitter account.
