Mohali (The Stellar News): The sister-in-law of former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi has also suffered because of the strictness of Punjab Health Minister, Chetan Singh Joramajra. The position has been resigned by Dr. Mahinder Kaur, the wife of Dr. Manohar Singh, the brother of former CM Channi. She was assigned to the Kharar Civil Hospital as Senior Medical Officer.
Chetan Singh Joramajra, the health minister, examined Kharar Hospital a few days ago. In which the SMO received criticism for neglecting to run the ward’s fan and clean the restrooms. Dr. Maninder Kaur was subsequently moved from Kharar to Dhanaula in Barnala.
On July 20, Health Minister Chetan Singh Joramajra arrived at Kharar Hospital with the assistance of the Tourism Minister, Anmol Gagan Mann. The health minister spoke extensively to the SMO about the hospital’s cleanliness during this time. Hardly after two days, the transfer ordered of Dr. Maninder Kaur was issued and he was transferred to Dhanaula. The SMO resigned from her post after that and sought voluntary retirement form service.
It seems like Dr. Maninder Kaur decided to resign after the Health Minister lashed out at her and the government issued her transfer order. However, Dr. Maninder Kaur said that she had resigned from her position due to some personal reasons. She said, “I had tender my resignation 10 days back. I had decided this due to some personal reasons. I will not comment on that incident. I had served 22 years in this profession. Now, I have to serve my notice period of three months. I am yet to join at Dhanaula”.
