Chandigarh (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: On Friday, the meeting between Punjab and Haryana Chief Ministers over the Satluj Yamuna Link River remains un-conclusive. The meeting between both the CMs was held in the Haryana Bhawan at Chandigarh.
After the meeting with CM Bhagwant Mann, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khatter addressed media and said, “The meeting over the SYL issue remains un-conclusive and the report of meeting will be sent to Centre. The decision about the next meeting to be held or not will be taken by the Centre Government.
While CM Mann said, “I have strongly presented the side of Punjab in the meeting with facts and figures”.
The matter of SYL has always triggered the politics in both neighbouring states and is linked with the generation of Haryana as a new state from Punjab.
