INDIAN COAST GUARD SHIP ENSURED RELEASE OF FISHERMEN FROM PAKISTANI BOAT

New Delhi (The Stellar News): On Friday, Indian Coast Guard ship Arinjay helped in freeing six Indian fishermen from Gujarat who were taken captive by Pakistan Maritime Security Agency ship Barkat on October 6 after sinking their boat.

Indian Coast Guard officials said, “The Coast Guard ship ensured release of the captured fishermen from the Pakistan boat near maritime boundary line and brought them back to safety. One fisherman also saved from drowning near the boat sunk by Pakistani boat Barkat”.
