Ferozepur(The Stellar News): On the night of 08th & 09th Nov’ 2022 at about 2325 hrs, alert BSF troops of 136 Bn BSF deployed at border heard buzzing sound of suspected drone entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area falling near Village – Gandu Kilcha, District – Ferozepur. As per drill, the BSF troops tried to intercept the suspected drone by firing at the drone. The drone was damaged and fell down on the ground in farming field in the depth area. BSF cordoned the whole area and also informed the concerned sister agencies.
Further, during thorough joint search by BSF party and Punjab Police 01 Hexacopter was recovered near Village – Jalala Wala alongwith rope of length 150 feet attached with pully. Detail search of the area is in progress. Alert troops of BSF once again were able to capture a drone and foiled smuggling attempt.
