J&K/Doda (The Stellar News): Continuing its efforts under operation “SANJEEVANI” to eradicate the drug menace from the society, Doda Police apprehended a drug peddler at Bhaderwah with narcotics from his possession.

Giving details ,Doda Police said that a Police Party of Police Station Bhaderwah while on routine Naka / patrolling in Dhara area, intercepted one pedestrian and during his personal search charas like substance was recovered from his possession. On enquiry the accused disclosed his name as Manzoor Ahmed son of Mohd Ibrahim resident of Dugga tehsil Bhalla (Bhaderwah).
In this connection, case FIR No.04/2023 under relevant sections was registered at PS Bhaderwah and investigation of the case has been started. Worth to mention here that Doda Police has continued its war against the drug smuggling and so far number of drug peddlers including notorious /main suppliers have been booked to eradicate the menace of drug from the District.
