Punjab (The Stellar News): Batala’s Dahiya Village former Sarpanch shot dead after he was attacked by seven armed attackers. As per sources, Ex-Sarpanch Swaran Singh attacked by seven armed people near about 11:00 pm on Sunday, assailants came in a car and started firing on Singh, after which he succumbed to bullets shot in his chest.

After the attack, Swaran Singh was rushed to nearer civil hospital where he was declared brought dead. Police investigating the case sites old enmity and said, “Three assailants has been arrested while we are conducting raids to nab the remaining attackers”.
