ENTHUSIASM, LEARNINGS AND BRAVERY: SUMMARIZING ARMY EXHIBITION BY VAJRA CORPS IN HOSHIARPUR

Hoshiarpur (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Punjab’s most literate district Hoshiarpur witnessed a very motivated and enthusiastic exhibition of Army equips by the Army’s Vajra Corps. The exhibition was held in the Army ground near Police Line, Hoshiarpur where the heavy Artillery Guns, Tanks and Army Trucks along with the Army guns were showcased for the common public.

The exhibition was organised under the supervision of Senior army officials and the weapons and army vehicles were provided by the nearer army headquarters for the exhibition purpose. Retired Army officers Rtd. Gen. JS Dhillon and Rtd. Col. Raghubir Singh were also present in the exhibition.

Senior officials speaking with the Stellar News Team on the condition of anonymity emphasised that they will try to organise such exhibitions after a very short time span and the response from the side of common public and students is really enormous.

The main aim of this exhibition was to settle connection of army with the newer generation and to make them aware that what kind of technology and weapons is used by the Indian army for tackling the security issues of the country.

Students from multiple schools were invited to attend the exhibition and when students reached the venue their excitement and happiness on their face was the evidence of exhibition’s success.

Hoshiarpur city is a place from where hundreds of youngsters join Army and spirit of serving for the nation is in the core of this district. This kind of exhibitions should be organised for the students repeatedly and so that they get to know about the Army latest machinery and they always get idea what is true Nationalism and the top most sacrifice that our soldiers give for the Country.
