Near about Rs.100 Crore banned notes revealed in a form of bed at Kanpur

The Stellar News: Prabhjot Kaur- 8th November 2016 a date on which Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes were banned by government. It never fades how people were standing in queues in front of banks for exchanging notes. Many people were arrested for preserving the large amounts of banned notes. Now, after 1 year, large amount of banned notes again revealed in a house of Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur.

Approximately Rs.100 crore banned cash was found in a house at Kanpur. The interesting thing is that the notes were appeared in the form of bed. National Investigation Agency and Police along with RBI bank officers and Income- Tax department raided a Hotel in Kanpur and caught many people. When they investigate the arrested people by asking some questions police got some clues regarding a banned money in a house. Then police raided a house of a businessman Ashok Khatri. Police was shocked by seeing a bed of cash in the house. After counting the cash whole night, UP Police informed that the demonetized cash worth nearly about Rs.100 Crore.

Anand kumar, Director general of police said that 16 people have been arrested and arrested people were being interrogated in order to get the main suspect. It is estimated that many government officers are also being involved.

RBI reported that approximately 99% of demonetized notes have returned to the banks.

Police and other investigating departments assured that very soon they come to know about the whole trap and able to know about how many people are involved.
