An encounter took place in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, in which three militants were killed. The deceased militants are identified as Eesa Fazli from Srinagar, Syed Shafi of Kokernag. The identity of third militant is not revealed yet.

This encounter took place, as anti-militancy operation was launched in Hakura area of Anantnag after the information about presence of militants in the area.
The deceased militants were the students of engineering, after that they joined militancy. AK 47, Rifles, Pistols and Hand grenades were recovered from encounter site.
