
Shrinagar/Rajouri (The Stellar News), Report-Anil Bhardwaj: A delegation of Senior Pahari leaders of j&k comprising Adv Ahsan Mirza, Bharat Bhushan Vaid, Adv Gurdev Singh Thakur, and Muneer Mirza, today called on Commissioner Secretary Rural Development Department, J&K, Ajaz Asad, at the Civil Secretariat Srinagar. The delegation apprised the Secretary of various issues and flaws in the implementation of various schemes run by the Government of India, including Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), Other schemes meant for the poor and downtrodden people The leaders highlighted the challenges faced by the rural population in availing benefits under these schemes and suggested measures to improve their implementation. They also submitted various proposals to address the issues and improve the delivery of services.

Commissioner Secretary Ajaz Asad assured the delegation that their suggestions and proposals would be taken care of and necessary actions would be initiated to address the issues. He emphasized the importance of community participation in the implementation of rural development schemes. The delegation thanked the Commissioner Secretary for his positive response and assured him of their continued cooperation in the development of the region.
