A massive fire broke out at Rithala’s Pal Colony, around 3 pm. 70-shanties were gutted in fire. There was no loss of human life, the residents lost important possessions, cash and identity papers.

Fifteen fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the douse the flame. They took two hours to control the fire. As per reports, in the fire incident a car got burnt, a calf and a cow died in the fire. After the incident, homeless people, mostly daily wagers, are totally helpless.
This fire explosion occurred might be due to a short circuit.
