New Delhi (The Stellar News)_Indian company Zydus Cadilo has asked the approval for the Indian based ZyCoV-D Vaccine from Drugs General Controller of India(DGCI). This vaccine is safe for children. This is the first plasmid DNA vaccine. The vaccine will be applied with Pharmajet Injector which will not require needle and will reduce the side effects of infection. Vaccine ZyCoV-D of Indian company Zydus Cadila had accomplished the third phase of trial. There were 28,000 participants of this trial. This vaccine is the largest vaccine trial in India with satisfactory results. Around 50 clinical sites have done the trial for this vaccine during second phase of corona. This is effective for fighting against Delta Variant.
Plasmid based DNA vaccine will work for increasing the antigen specific immunity, which will help to fight with infection. The advantage of this vaccine is that it can be stored in 2-8 degree temperature. Corona vaccine Covaxin is made in bio-safety level-3 lab. Whereas Zydus vaccine can be made at level-1 lab. This was the first trial which was done on 12-18 age of children. The effect of Zydus made vaccine was 66% and after taking the vaccine the symptoms of corona were not seen.
