SHER BAHADUR DEUBA APPOINTED AS PRIME MINISTER OF NEPAL

Nepal (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Nepal apex court on Monday reinstated the dissolved House of Representatives and ordered appointment of Nepal congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as PM within two days.

Recently, Nepal President Bidya Bhandari had dissolved lower house for the second time in five months and also on the recommendations of PM KP Oli Sharma announced early elections on Nov 12 and Nov 19.

After this 30 petitions were filed against this decision in the apex court of Nepal. 5 judges bench headed by CJ Cholendra Shumsher Rana had concluded the hearing in a case last week on 5th July.

On Apex Court decision, CPN-UML spokesperson and former foreign minister Pradeep Gyawali said that it was unexpected and against the principles of constitution. He quoted that, “Wrong and unjustifiable but will abide by it”.
