FARMERS TO HOLD SANSAD ON JANTAR MANTAR AMID PARLIAMENTARY MONSOON SESSION IN DELHI

Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: Sanyukt Kisan Morcha an umbrella body to all other 31 farm unions called a farmers march towards Indian parliament from Singhu Border, Delhi. They also appointed parliament speakers from their farm unions and will organise their own Sansad outside the Parliamentary building.

For this Delhi as well as Haryana Police made all arrangements and tightened the security of parliament as the monsoon session of parliament is underway.

Delhi police allowed only 200 farmers to march towards parliament building, notified timing of March from morning 11:00 am to evening 5:00 pm and also requested farm unions to march peacefully. Farm unions also made identity cards for those who are in the list of two hundred people going towards parliament building. The list will be regularly updated until the parliament session will pursue, everyday 200 people will go towards parliamentary building.

In the attempt to show their anger against the ruling Centre Government on the passing of three contentious farm laws last year, this protest cum march is organized by Farm Union Sanyukt Kisan Morcha. Despite of the multiple meeting over finding midway solution on three contentious farm laws, the rift between the farmers and the Centre is still adamant.

Farmers are agitating against the three contentious farm laws passed last year by Government of India. The fear of losing their land and giving country’s farming sector to big co-operative companies, has bring farmers to came on roads and agitate against the centre government.
